The Old Chapel plans to bring history to life using Costumed Interpreters. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make some of these costumes.

On 18, 19 and 20 February, we will be running a costume making workshop for those that wish to volunteer. It’s a great opportunity to learn some new skills. The days will run from 10am – 4pm, looking at how different period costumes are made, with the opportunity to make part of a costume.

After that, costumes will be made in your own time, but a weekly session could be organised. We have training for Costumed Interpreters in April, so will hopefully have some costumes by this time. The project will end when the costumes are complete, potentially around May 2013.

If you are interested, please contact Gemma Smith for a Volunteer Application Form.
